About Katoen Natie
Katoen Natie, with the Huts family at the helm, is without doubt one of the best-known names in the world of logistics. The company was founded in 1854 and, at the time, its business was receiving and handling goods – cotton in particular – in the port of Antwerp.
Over time, the number of sectors expanded, and since the early 2000’s, everything speeded up: a whole series of companies was taken over and added to the imperium. Nowadays, Katoen Natie are a multinational with more than 13,000 employees worldwide and with operations in Europe, Asia, Africa and North and South America.
