Everyone knows the supermarket chain Colruyt, but Colruyt Group is a lot more than that. It is a retail group that includes a/o Bio Planet, Colruyt, OKay, DreamLand, Dreambaby and Bike Republic. The group employs close to 33,000 people and is active in Belgium, France and Luxemburg. The company as an innovative image and corporate social responsibility is one of its top priorities.
A partnership for more than 30 years
Having worked together for more than 30 years, we can definitely say that Colruyt Group and Hardy’s Industries have a real partnership. During this period, Colruyt Group have grown enormously. The group went international with new subsidiaries in France and Luxemburg, Bio Planet was founded,… Over the past few decennia, we stood by their side and – with our service – we also supported this growth.
Different shops, tailored approach
The retail chains belonging to Colruyt Group are all different and the target audience they serve is highly diverse. Compare the young mother who comes into Dreambaby for the first time or the bargain hunter who does his weekly shop at Colruyt. Products cannot be compared either: food and non-food, heavy goods, delicate products, … Of course, the shelving we install in their branches will be totally different too, but thanks to our many-year-long partnership, we have acquired the knowledge necessary to work very fast. We know the materials blindfolded. Flexible working is also a must; not every order is always planned a long time in advance.
What Hardy’s Industries do for Colruyt Group
Hardy’s Industries was called upon to (re)fit their (new) shops, but also to refurbish the existing racks in shops. As always, timing is very important. Indeed, shops need to keep their doors open as much as possible. In the case of refurbishment works, it is crucial to limit hinder for customers as much as possible, because in many cases, the shop concerned just remains open during our activities.
