Given the nature of our activities, safety has penetrated every fibre of our business. Therefore, 100% of our installations have the green light upon handover too. This is the result of constant training, discipline and 30 years’ experience in warehouse installations.
The “safety” concept in our sector covers 2 aspects, both highly crucial. It is the safety of our colleagues who build the installations, and the safety of each rack installed.
Safety attitude at each assembly job
Auditing
Everything we do is constantly subjected to internal and external audits, so nothing is left to chance. This enables us to guarantee to our customers that everything was done 100% in compliance with applicable standards.
Equipment inspections
Our work equipment, such as forklift trucks and scissor lifts are inspected periodically by an External Service for Technical Inspections (ESTI). There are also rules for anyone who enters the warehouse: you stay out if you don’t wear hiviz vest, safety shoes and hard hat.
Safety awareness of our colleagues
Each team member has the right safety reflex. They can also spot risks and take the necessary preventive actions readily. They are keen professionals who have had the necessary safety training and possess the required certificates to handle and use specialised equipment. Experience also plays a major part in this respect.
Training and certificates
Everyone who works as a fitter or team leader attended the mandatory training courses and has the certificates required to perform their jobs:
Health, Safety & Environment Checklist Contractors (VCA)
Since 2009, Hardy’s Industries are VCA certified and are audited annually. Thanks to their VCA training, our colleagues are perfectly aware of the applicable safety requirements, and they do implement them consistently.
Certificates for operating installation machines
Depending on their function, our fitters and team leaders also have the required certificates. These certificates can be produced anytime upon request.
