Of course, it happens that businesses decide to move the storage of their products to a different location. If the current warehouse installation is still in good condition, it should be moved to the new location.
Disassembling and reassembling a warehouse
Relocating an existing installation involves the following steps:
Disassembly of the existing installations in accordance with best practice: safe and according to a fixed methodology.
Professional packaging of elements for transport, so that materials are properly protected.
Transport to the new location. Hardy’s Industries has their own means of transport and can also store the disassembled materials temporarily if required.
Reassembly of materials at the new location.
The professional installation and the quality of installation are confirmed by an acceptance protocol.
If necessary, an inspection will confirm conformance of the installation.
Frequently asked questions
Can existing pallet racking be moved to a new warehouse?
Yes. Hardy’s Industries dismantles, transports and rebuilds existing racking, also in a different layout. Damaged components are replaced and the load signs are adapted to the new configuration.
Can the warehouse keep operating during the relocation?
In consultation with you, we plan the relocation in phases, zone by zone, so that your operations are disrupted as little as possible.

No sinecure
Dismantling, transport, storage and reassembling are performed via a strict procedure. At the new location, we aim for at least the same quality as at the old one. If we can use the opportunity to implement improvements, we are more than happy to suggest them to you.
